2020 Ranil's Visit
2020 Ranil's Visit

Ranil Mallawarachchi, an old Naladian and the son of singer Milton Mallawarachchi, visited us for the 3rd time to take part in a scheduled concert in Toronto. However the show was cancelled due to CoVid and he had to return to Australia before lockdown. He stayed with Rajinda Gunasena and was later hosted for a get-together at Ajith Perera's residence before his departure.

Mahela Jayawardena also know as Mr. Masterclass is without a doubt the best cricketer produced by our school. He visited Toronto for the second time, as a brand ambassador for a T20 tournament held in the summer of 2019. We had the pleasure of meeting a few times and host him for a dinner during his stay.

The family picnic in 2019 saw us show off our new tent and flags, along with a BBQ that the OBA provided on top of the Lunch packets. It was held at the Bruce's Mill Conservation park with a good participation from members and family, who enjoyed a great summer day.

1999 Mr. Gunasinghe's Visit

Mr. Dharma Gunasinghe, was a tall lanky figure most of us knew and feared as he roamed around the junior section with a cane in his hand, hidden behind him who later became the Principal of our school from 1982-1990. In 1999 He made a visit to Toronto, Ontario and these are some of the pictures we took with our loving Principal during his stay.
