Rajinda Gunasena
President
One of the founding members of Old Nalandian's Association of Canada, Rajinda studied at Nalanda since kindergarten and belongs to the 82 batch. He was well known in school for his Art & Design, being the cartoonist for the big match souvenir for 3 years. He has followed this to be his career, and currently works as an Art/Creative Director in advertising Design by profession. He has played some cricket for the school, but was more known as a Junior National Carrom Champion and a 2nd Ranked National player at the age of 19.
Having moved to Canada in 1989, he has participated in the annual cricket match against Canada in Canada and holds the bowling record in the match taking 6 wickets for 17 runs. He is also an champion golfer with a single digit handicap, and has won the Sri Lankan Schools Golf tournament singles trophy many times and the team championship for Nalanda.
