Lasath belongs to the 1980 batch of Nalandians and was involved in art and publishing, during his school days. He drew the cartoons for the annual big match souvenir in 1979, which he continued to become an Architect by profession, and has worked in Dubai and Oman. He moved to Canada with his family in 2015 and became involved with the OBA right away, volunteering as a committee member since 2019.
